The World of Repair Rugs Company

I was born in a family with four generations of weaving, repairing and exporting rugs. We owned this business for over 150 years. Including my responsibilities in running this business, I have been closely involved in improving and bringing new designs for persian rugs. To complement my hands on experience in this business,  I studied further and graduated from faculty of fine arts, majoring on Handicraft.

Prior to establishing this company, I was involved in researching on conservation, and studied fibers, detergents, textiles, supervised and trained employees. And With my extensive hands on experience and knowledge attained in Iran and later in Europe, I founded the World of Repair Rugs LTD in 1992 and since then running the company successfully.

Some believe repairing and fixing a damaged rug, devalues the rug and decrease the price of the item. This is not true for, we use the quality material and closely match the condition of the rug. In a sense you can not tell the difference between the repaired area from the original area. Administration of this repair in fact is beneficial in two ways, firstly, the life of your rug is extended and secondly the value of your rug increased. Cleaning and removing stains and colors from your rug also work in the same way.
